Christina Cofer, MS, BCBA, LBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed in the state of New Jersey and nationally certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. She is also a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through MindBodyGreen Coaching, bringing a unique whole-person perspective to supporting children and the families who care for them.

Christina specializes in working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. She is passionate about helping children build meaningful, functional skills that increase independence and improve quality of life. Her areas of focus include communication, social interaction, adaptive living skills, self-care, emotional regulation, and reducing barriers to learning through individualized, evidence-based interventions.

Her approach to treatment is compassionate, client-centered, and assent-based, recognizing that meaningful learning happens when children feel safe, respected, and motivated to participate. Christina values naturalistic, play-based teaching strategies that foster engagement while embedding learning opportunities into everyday routines and activities.

A cornerstone of Christina’s practice is strong collaboration with parents and caregivers. She believes families are the most important members of a child’s team and works closely with them to create practical strategies that can be carried over into daily life. By empowering caregivers and promoting consistency across environments, she helps children make meaningful and lasting progress while strengthening the confidence of those who support them every day.

In addition to her work in behavior analysis, Christina provides Health and Wellness Coaching using a client-centered, motivational interviewing approach. She partners with individuals to identify goals that are personally meaningful and develops realistic, sustainable strategies that fit each person’s unique lifestyle.

One of Christina’s wellness specialties is supporting parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. She understands the unique physical, emotional, and mental demands that caregiving can bring and is passionate about helping caregivers reduce stress, prevent burnout, and create sustainable routines that support their own well-being. By focusing on practical self-care, values-based living, healthy habits, and realistic lifestyle changes, she helps caregivers care for themselves while continuing to care for those they love.
